Renting is often the smartest first move on the Costa del Sol — a way to live in an area before you commit to buying there, or to settle quickly while your plans take shape. The rental market moves fast and the best homes go quietly, so having someone on the ground makes a real difference.

Many of my buyers rent first. A few months in an area tells you what a viewing never can — the morning light, the drive to school, how it feels on a quiet Tuesday. When you're ready to buy, you'll know exactly where.
What to expect from a long-term let.
Long-term contracts here are typically annual and renewable, usually with a deposit and references. Furnished and unfurnished options both exist, and community fees, utilities and any agency terms vary by property — I'll set them all out clearly before you commit.
